Kat Eberley is a fashion designer based out of San Francisco, CA. She graduated in the top 5% of her class at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Textiles and Fashion Design and a B.A. in Gender and Women's Studies. Kat is passionate about female empowerment and has employed her interdisciplinary background in fashion and feminism to support women artisans in Haiti, Nepal, and Portugal. She has worked with four organizations that utilize artisan craftsmanship as a vehicle for financial empowerment, connecting these talented workers to large networks of buyers that would have otherwise been inaccessible. Her recent experience as an active apparel designer for Old Navy allowed her to combine her interest in wellness and design to create products that made women feel comfortable and confident. This experience also allowed her to employ the research background she honed as a Gender and Women's Studies student, using macro trends she identified to create innovative active design solutions. Kat is currently seeking opportunities that combine her interests in market research, sustainability, and creative design solutions.
